California's Oakland Zoo has vaccinated some of its larger animals against COVID-19, using a new experimental vaccine specifically formulated for animals.

After testing it successfully on humans they are giving it to animals on a trial basis.
I think the average MSN reader misunderstands the definition of "Oakland Zoo" and "larger animals" among residents of the San Francisco Bay Area...
Why? The virus is specialized to attach to the human ACE receptor, not to that of other animals. Curious how that happened.

Chimps, apes and other monkeys are trying to resist experimental vaccines—they need to learn their place!
Columbus Zoo and several others in Ohio also vaccinating the animals.
In Oakland, there is the Zoo where animals are handled with keepers.
Then, there is the much larger Oakland zoo where the animals get welfare.
