I was hoping when I got to the end of the title, that it said he shot himself in the foot.

Probably filled the card out before getting in the cart.

I donated his book “Decisions Points” to Goodwill when he started bashing Trump. I’ve lost all respect for Bush. Maybe Gore should have won in 2000 after all.

A golfing success, a Presidential failure.

He beat his rival by three pointsPoints?, UGH, these writers sure don't know their subjects. They need to consult Jeffrey Toobin for the proper terminology.

If he had only one bogey on a par 69 course, we would’ve shot 70, not 74...

We are in the mess we are in partially b/c of the Bush’s failure to fight for America for 8 long years. 24 years, from Bubba through Maobama, with no one standing up for the US Constitution. Is there any doubt why young people have no clue that there is another side to issues?

He’s on a golf course? He should be in prison.

for a minute there I thought he had taken up where Cheney left off when I read that he had shot 74.

Perhaps he can play a round of golf in Afghanistan.

Bush appointed better judges than Gore would have. But Gore probably would not have invaded Iraq (which, among other things, took our eyes off Afghanistan).
So on balance, you’re probably right.
