I don’t think Frank Luntz gave McCarthy permission to punish her, as that would have made her a martyr and drawn attention to her...as if they’re not going to put her front and center anyway.
True, but the Dems will tout her participation and Kevin McCarthy just doesn't have what it takes to impose party discipline. No one is afraid of him. Every Dem is afraid of Pelosi even if a few finally oppose her.
