Admittedly, I haven’t seen them all, but not a great list:

1776 - OK; not woke or anti-American, but a little boring with forgettable music

Captain America - haven’t seen, but it’s modern-day Marvel; is it really that much better than the other Marvel garbage?

Independence Day - OK, but of course they had to go all “we are the world” with the ending.

The Patriot - OK, but it’s Mel Gibson at his hokiest

Yankee Doodle Dandy - haven’t seen; would like to

Hidden Figures - haven’t seen; some black women are the “real heroes” of the space program? Whatever.

The American President - complete leftist wishful thinking.

Gettysburg or a decent WWII movie would be better.

Gettysburg - You aren't a 100% American if you don't get a chill and a bit blurry eyed when Joshua Chamberlin yells out: "BAYONETS!"

Hidden Figures??? We always watch 1776 on July 4th. We began the week watching the miniseries Sons of Liberty.

Yankee Doodle Dandy... loved all my life and just watched with commentary by TCM that Cagney was accused of being communist sypathizer and making this movie cleaned up his image. Disturbing.
