I put “The Crossing” up near the top of the list. Good to remember that if it were not for Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware and the subsequent victories at Trenton and Princeton NJ, there never would have been a United States to begin with. The British were within weeks of victory in their colonies until those 10 fateful days changed the world forever. The Hessian officer Johann von Ewald wrote at the time, that after Trenton and Princeton he knew the war was lost.
