My wife and I had the worst plague of our lives in January/February of 2020 before it had a name. Took weeks to clear out our lungs, but we never saw a doctor and never took any drugs.

I have two antibody tests showing I’ve had it. My wife does not test positive, but the antibodies recede when you haven’t been exposed in awhile. They resurge when you are.

I can prove I have had it and have the antibodies. There is no reason for me to be forced to submit to the vaccine unless some other sinister agenda is afoot.

What I have is anecdotal, but I have two for you. For a short time in 2020 (Feb-Apr) I dated a woman who’s work requires international travel, and she was claiming that she was in China, roughly in Wuhan around November of 2019, and she had a pretty nasty upper respiratory infection. I took it with a grain of salt, but kept it in mind. I tried to convince her to get tested for the antibodies last year, but she wouldn’t. She got her shot this March without incident.

My niece also had something nasty around that time, but we never knew what it truly was. Also got the jab this year.

Agreed on the issue of making it compulsory. I’ll say to anybody If you’re gonna take it, I wish you the best of health, just don’t force or try to shame others into it.

Here in Canada they are starting the propaganda from the MSM that unvaxxed people are causing the variants. They are trying to demonize us and turn public opinion against us. I have never seen this behavior in my lifetime. The lengths they are going to is absolutely crazy. Sure makes one wonder what it’s really about (rhetorical, we all know).

Yep, remember that time frame well. Lots of folks had “That weird flu thing” at that time.

Chicken soup, lots of sleep and aspirin, a few days of too much Netflix, than back in the saddle.

Interesting that you brought up your personal situation.

In mid-Feb 2020, my wife and I both came down with the flu. We had tests done at a local Urgent Care, positive for the flu. We were both sick for a full week.

At the time, I was working for UPS in their DFW sort hub, where 40K packages were sorted every shift. At the end of March, I opted to shelter in place, and never went back. During April, 3 of my coworkers came down with Covid.

Haven't taken any tests, but I'm pretty sure my wife and I had Covid.

I'm not taking any more vaccines until I receive clearance from a fellow alum from Gonzaga, a nationally renowned physician...iow, after he takes the shot with few or no side effects.
