In an ironic twist of events, the Pound Cake speech in which Bill Cosby famously (or, perhaps, infamously) criticized the black family and black neighborhood for what he deemed unsavory behavior was used to open the comedian to public scrutiny surrounding sexual assault allegations against him.
He’s innocent, I tell ya ! Six decades of raping and drugging women and he’s innocent !
Regardless of his guilt or innocence, I had long assumed the decision to prosecute had a large political component.
Of course is it did. Mere weeks after that speech the first lawsuit was filed.
and if he had toed the LEFTY line, he still would be.

Didn’t Cosby admit to buying drugs to knock out women?

I didn’t follow the Cosby case, but remember his comments about the destruction of the black family in America, and the importance of black fathers in the nuclear family. No idea if he is guilty of the charges, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he was targeted for going public with those views. Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson, Thomas Sowell, Burgess Owens, Candace Owens, Herman Cain (RIP), Allen West, Alan Keyes, and thousands like them know going against black socialists means having a target on your back.
Cosby was far from innocent, but much of what he was accused of happened at the Playboy Mansion during the 1970s. If you went to the Playboy Mansion in the 1970s, you did so at your own peril.
As the article notes, it was when he began to try to talk some sense into the “black community,” that the whip came down.
It was a bit like the Democrats’ obvious panic when it began to appear that President Trump was picking up some black support.
Guilty or not, the outcome is sad , regardless whether in prison or not, guilty or not, because the television show did depict a family unit with two parents. Values for any color, situations that any family could have had. And now, none of those will be on reruns. Found Not Guilty is just no closure for anything.
But C-rap of any alphabet units, well, that’s the new normal, innnit?
Cosby- not guilty. Cosby denied having sex with unconscious women. Cosby gave women Qualudes, never admitted to slipping them in drinks. So I guess he’s guilty of doing something that millions of men have done - “loosen up” a woman to encourage sex. Bad behavior? Ok, sure. Felonious? Well, the original prosecutor didn’t seem to think he had a strong case against Cosby: i.e., admit to doing *something* and you won’t go to jail. The rest of the story sure seems like BS “justice” to me. I’m glad he’s out and I wish him well!
He was doing this stuff long before the Playboy Mansion, and long after. I think he seriously harbors a real hatred for women. That he needs them to be “dead to the world”, a de facto necrophiliac fetish, in order to “perform”, is really, really sick. Makes me wonder if he didn’t go even further with his actions.
Seeing other folks around here defending his honor as if he was a paragon of morality and virtue is just jaw-dropping. He was and is a fraud who thinks he’s the victim. BTW, he HATES Conservatives. That means US.
He didn’t “loosen them up”, he knocked them out to rape them. He was such a coward he didn’t have the common courtesy to rape them while they were coherent and conscious and could say NO. What a man.
The women have many motivation$ to lie.
Where did he say that? Produce your source of STFU.
You’re a liar. No ones defending anything. You are the one throwing around unsourced accusations sand are not offering any proof.
You need to STFU until you produce your so-called evidence liar.
The speech that got Bill Cosby hated by the Left

The fact you are so upset tells me you think he is guilty. Otherwise, you wouldn’t care this much
