Meghan McCain announced live on air Thursday that she is resigning from ABC's The View
DailyMail.com had revealed earlier on Thursday that the 36-year-old was stepping away from the daytime talk show with two years still on her contract
Her co-hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin, were not aware prior to Thursday that McCain had resigned, a source said
McCain will be finishing up on the show at the end of July
McCain addressed her resignation during the The View's opening segment, saying: 'I'm going to rip the bandaid off'

Being able to abide Whoopie and Joy Behar says something for one’s ability to put up with partisan idiots. But that doesn’t necessarily make one an incisive commentator either.
They producers plan to add Candice Owens as one of the co-hosts. This should be reported in the Babylon Bee shortly.
I wonder which token “conservative” will replace her. Maybe They can get Pierre Delecto.

36 is younger than I thought. Her fatness and stupidity masked her age well.
I seemed to have replaced my “give a sh!t badge!!!
That’s a nightmare, it took forever to be rid of her father.
No one but Behar is around from 20 years ago on the show. And at one point she quit 5 seasons.
Nobody in their right mind should vote for her.
All the Republicans on the show over the years have stunk except Hasselbeck, who quit tv and media, and Candace Cameron, who decided to go back to acting.
