Who shot Ashli Babbitt, the pro-Trump Air Force veteran who was killed by police during the January 6 riot at the US Capitol building? The American people were told that it was a Capitol Police officer who fired the fatal shot. But Cockburn has stumbled across some information that points to a different explanation.
Sources close to and within the intelligence community tell Cockburn that Babbitt was actually shot by a member of then-vice president Mike Pence’s protective detail. The VP’s detail, of course, is provided by US Secret Service, not the Capitol Police. One person asserted to Cockburn over drinks in DC that this is ‘basically an open secret’ in the intelligence community.
Law enforcement sources suggested to Cockburn that the Capitol Police Department and Department of Justice have publicly identified the shooter as a Capitol Police officer in order to protect the reputation of the Secret Service. Cockburn also wonders if this isn’t an attempt to protect Pence from further anger or threats from Capitol rioters who wanted him to refuse to certify the results of the election on January 6.
A cover-up of this nature would also explain why the government hasn’t been forthcoming with other information about the alleged Capitol Police officer who they say shot Babbitt. Police officers who are involved in shootings are almost always identified publicly. The unnamed officer’s lawyer says that his client is being kept anonymous due to threats against his life. Babbitt’s family, however, argues that they have a right to know who shot and killed their beloved relative. Publicly released videos of the scene show a trajectory too low at the point of the muzzle flash. She was also alert on the way out. Also carried down the stairs head first. Her pants weren’t wet. She moved her right hand under her buttocks when being blotted by the other actors.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Pence was part of the shenanigans, but if Ashli was shot, it wasn’t at the staged break-in.
The Ashli story could easily die on the vine, but these diversionary angles keep popping up. That tells me there’s unsettled business behind the scenes.
Because the real truth about the Capitol Riot is about to be revealed?

The link to the deposition that Lin Wood talks about that discusses the treason by Ryan/Pence/Rosenstein stands. I believe Pence is long gone, and has been for awhile.
Trump *knew* Pence would do what he did (or didn’t do) on 1/6/21, as he intonated during his speech earlier that day.
Those appearances are not the original Pence.

What do you mean by “long gone?” These people are not in the spotlight now, for sure.
Good movies often have actors that play public figures that have long past (dead, in jail, otherwise unable to appear in public). With today’s tech, CGI/silicone masks, these characters often look exactly like the original.
We’re watching a movie play out, except instead of a movie screen, on TV news and mainstream media.
These folks are not in the spotlight now because the production costs would be substantial if they were, and in any case unneeded for the effect intended.
