A well-known neo-Nazi vlogger who loved nothing more than to dress up as comic book villains and call for genocide quietly pleaded guilty to several gun charges Tuesday morning.
Paul Miller, a 32-year-old Florida man, is better known by his audience of racists and online trolls as Gypsy Crusader. He had a sizable audience on sites like Bitchute and Telegram—sites well known for their lax rules about hate speech and violent rhetoric—where he would post racist remarks and call for violence. An FBI raid in March netted him three charges for possession of an unregistered firearm and ammunition and possession of a weapon as a felon.
He faces 30 years in prison upon sentencing.
In some of his videos, he partook in the popular format of trolling video chat websites that would set you up with random users like Omegle or ChatRoulette. In them, he would say racist or bigoted remarks to whoever he came across. He would, at times, do this in costume, a popular one being the Joker costume from the 2019 film, but in other cases, he dressed up in a skull mask with a kevlar vest with a swastika patch. In some videos he would brandish a gun and point it at the camera.

He was in possession of a short-barreled rifle. Florida lets you have them only if you are in compliance with the Federal law about owning them.
I did not take a deep dive into the court papers to see what was the problem with the short-barreled rifle.
Why would the FBI be enforcing state law? We know there is no federal law that would apply other than the felon in possession, which is a good law.
Having said that I hold these a-holes is the same esteem as Antifa.
The Vice article says he was arrested for possession of an unregistered SBR, a short barrel rifle, a 10.5” AR15 upper in this case and an AR rifle lower.
The article says neither part bore a serial number, it doesn’t say if the lower was made from an 80% lower or if the serial number was effaced.
Vice isn’t known for firearms expertise, AR rifle uppers do not typically bear serial numbers to my admittedly limited knowledge.
I don’t know if pistol uppers are required to have serial numbers or if registration is required by the ATF.
The lower and upper were not assembled together when they were seized according to the story.
I know Florida has no registration requirements other than the federal ones for full auto, SBRs, suppressors, AOWs and destructive devices that might require local LEO checks or approval.

I agree with you but if just being “dumb” got you 30 years Hunter Biden would be living in Florence, Colorado now.
I would think a 5 year probated sentence and time served would be PLENTY based upon what I know about this case (i.e.no victims).
Oh, OK, an SBR is an NFA item and does require a $200 tax stamp and registration.
