Why Newsom Needs to be Recalled

I am a native Californian and have lived here since 1962. California has always had its fair share of problems, some episodic and others chronic. The one absolute constant problem is the water supply, which relies primarily on snowmelt from the Sierra mountains and is thus susceptible to drought years. Since California is the largest agricultural producer in the nation, water is critical for farmers, residential consumers, and wildlife. You wouldn’t know there’s a problem, though, if you peruse Governor Gavin Newsom’s website, or, for that matter, the official California website, CA.gov.

Here is an excerpt from Newsom’s splash page:

The California Dream -- the idea that every person can achieve a better life, regardless of where they start out -- is central to who we are as Californians. Even in a time of economic growth and record employment, too many Californians are experiencing the squeeze of stagnant wages and the rising price of building-block necessities such as housing, health care, education, and child care. We can and must reanimate the California Dream, building a California for All.

This is a manifestation of Newsom’s priorities for California: housing, health care, education, and child care. The problem with this list is not that these priorities are unimportant, but rather that the most obvious chronic problem facing California, water supply, is ignored completely. For that matter, there are other chronic problems that are ignored: reliable energy supply, infrastructure decay (especially poorly maintained roads), traffic congestion, and poorly managed rural lands that have caused devastating and deadly wildfires. Notice how Newsom’s priorities are social programs aligned with special interests.

I don’t think he’s too worried.

If you live in a gated mansion in Malibu or anywhere along the coast, who gives a chit? Newsunce will be reelected or some other Marxist nutjob will win. The Republicucks are feckless,on purpose, and put candidates up like Cox. I have a better chance than him.

Gavin Newsom-Harris will be the next Senator from California replacing DIFI when she retires before the recall vote.

Yeah, Newsome will be recalled right after Hillary goes to prison and Cuomo resigns.

The one rule Democratic party in CaCaLand long ago sold its reason to the treehuggers. Hence, no nukes, no forest management, no reliable baseline power, no water storage, etc. The domestic terrorists watermelon TWOT’s want nothing less than to kill all humans — except for the chosen few, of course. This in not hyperbole. They got up and cheered the idea at a conference way back in Waco, Tx. Basically, “We need a disease to rid Mother Earth of the cancer of humanity.”

Very high. Its not just Newsom, its the entire democrat party and the need to stay in power. They will continue down this path of destruction until there is no more water.

California needs a chain of nuclear power plants and desalination plants up and down the coast.

You can forget nuke plants. They do not fit the meme of going green.

As far as desal plants, the one in Carlsbad is producing 55 million gallons of fresh water a day using reverse osmosis. This plant has been very successful and hundreds of these need to be produced up and down the west coast or the overpopulation problem will hit an apex.

California is a lost cause, for all truly sane people that continue to exist.

Nukes are the greenest power.
If the Green movement was actually about the environment, they would acknowledge that.
I am glad to hear about that desalination plant. Just that one produces enough water for half a million people! They need just 79 more...

He was one of those that allowed bums to use the streets of San Francisco as a bathroom when he was mayor plus he is letting out 10’s of thousands of criminals from prison and stopping new crooks from going to jail. He dismantled the gas chamber for killers when he said he was not going to.

He stole $1.4 billion last april 2020 to buy masks from a Chinese BUS company he did business with when mayor of San Francisco. Buses that constantly break down. No masks ever arrived.

He has plans on running for president and I bet that was his buy in.

Then there is his lockdown that benefited him. His winery stayed open but some 38% of small business’s have failed so far under his illegal dictates.
