Strange that a report would claim such a thing. I’ve been smoking pot for nearly 45 years - (at first for recreation, now for the ability to sleep, a natural weed is far better than chemicals made by man) - and I’ve never entertained the thought of suicide. This sounds like a report on about the same level as the 1950’s anti-marijuana propaganda movies.
I’m avoiding 3 expensive pharmaceuticals by legally infusing medical marijuana into olive oil. My post-cancer treatment left me with a few chronic issues that MJ treats very well.
You ought to concede that just how the human brain functions is simply not known. What is known is that it is 90% phospholipids and just how those fats churn up there detemine our higher intellectual functions, moods and behavior. Virtually any substance that crosses the blood brain barrier can and often does affect those functions. Genetics detemine just how a given individual will react. People who use marijauna regularly ( and usually advocate its use in others) are not what a scientist would call a non vested, objective observer. Your claim that you have “benefitted” from habitual marijuana use would require an objective analysis. There are many who have oberved and experienced clear harm, both overt and subtle, from this drug and others.
This only means that you don’t have a correct understanding of the statistical method.
