But these individual cases of good don’t negate the problem that we are not able to integrate and assimilate people holding antithetical values to our way of life - especially the current sheer volume.
Well, depending on the crowd density and the range, I’ll quibble that maybe a better answer to the knife would be a shield and a bigger knife (or rapier, or in some situations a spear or other pole arm)...rather than a firearm. :-)
