Cops are qualified to assume quickly.....thier life depends upon it as well as others. Now we’re hearing cops aren’t doing enough...They’re dam*ed if they do and don’t. Further the public isn’t exactly what once was normal either. I no longer neighbor for that reason.
Law enforcement is empowered by its official badge and the authority it represents, so the cop is theoretically “qualified” but is supposed to be held to a higher or the highest standard. However, civilians must take it upon themselves to make any wild and dangerous assumptions, and who or what could it be that qualifies them, and to what standard are they supposed to be held to?
