Jaken Rose said essentially the same thing that Rush Limbaugh said when he was invited to be a football analyst for ESPN in 2004 in which he tried to argue against the decision to start quarterback Donovan McNabb, who he felt shouldn’t have been given any credit for his team’s play.
Rush said then:
“I think what we’ve had here is a little social concern from the NFL; I think the media has been very desirous that a Black Quarterback do well.”
For this, Rush was fired.
The difference is, Rush is white and Jalen is black and Kevin Love is white and McNabb is black. Jalen will NOT be fired.

I’m more concerned about token airline pilots and surgeons, and building and bridge engineers. Basketball is insignificant.
