I’ve heard of stores that are boarded up in the main tourist area of Seattle near Pike Place Market; the whole area is filled with homeless, drunks, you name it.

Partner, we went to Seattle about 3 years ago and they would arrest folks in Texas if they were smoking pot out in the open.

We must have been in the same area as y'all were and I could not believe what was happening and no police.

The police can’t really arrest anyone anymore; the DA releases them almost right away with no charges. The chief of police resigned a year ago and cops are leaving Seattle in droves; almost 200.
