Leave it to the Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory as always.

I honestly don’t think I’ll ever vote again

As if polls, public opinion, or voting actually mean anything.
You will get Joe Biden and you will like Joe Biden’s job performance.
The actual rulers of America have spoken,

“Lawful gun ownership and sales do not lead to higher crime rates. Americans have had access to guns for decades.”

Oh, so that’s why places like the Dakotas, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, many parts of Tennessee or Texas or even Louisiana (outside Democrat New Orleans), and Switzerland have little or no criminal violence involving firearms.

Why should you? Unless you vote Democrat, you r vote don’t mean shit anyhow. The Republican Party for damn sure will not fight for you. Don’t waste your time. If I am still living at election time, I will not vote. Since I would die and go to hell before I would vote for a Democrat . It would not do me any good to vote.

That’s why the Dems are doing this sudden thing with “re-fund the police” in their giveaway bill. Polling has obviously been really bad for them on this issue.

So you're showing them your white flag?

What a coward you are. Shame on you!!!

I have always voted conservative, and I will be 80 in August. I will continue to vote conservative.

The fact remains that there is little the federal government can do to reduce crime. Law enforcement is a local function, Mayors have far more influence than the feds if they choose to act wisely.
THe current problem is a spate of ideological mayors and governors who don’t care about controlling crime— they see it as a result of societal failure, a la “systemic racism”, rather than a failure of civic leadership on their own parts. So mayors eliminate bail, reducing law enforcement to catch-and-release. They drop charges when those who actually are arrested happen to be black. They side with criminals when police use force, as they inevitably must do at times, thus destroying police morale and leading to front line cops “staying in the barracks” rather than risk the consequences to themselves and their families.
It should be clear by now that “the crime problem” is like so many others— an excuse for taking corrupt and ill considered political actions rather than seeking actual solutions.

In essence, Biden's response pins the entire violent crime rise on access to guns.

What a stupid thing to say - and hopefully there are enough intelligent voter left to know what a blatant lie this statement is.

But in this age of idiocracy, I'm not so sure.

Bull spit. Americans are far too stupid to put cause and effect together. In New York, the city council will become more left, and the mayor will remain Democrat.

Americans are stupid and disconnected, but in the near future, reality is going to give them a rude wake up.

This: President Bill Clinton, the greatest Democratic politician in recent memory, should tell you all you want to to know about the author.

We really are a stupid demographic. Here we are in the smoldering ruins of the greatest election fraud in history and conservatives are spouting about the 2022 elections being a turning point.

We really are a stupid demographic if we think elections (in their current iteration) will ever matter again.

And, apparently, we think elections will matter in 2022. Hence, we really are a stupid demographic.

Leave it to the Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory as always.

If Democrats lose large numbers of seats in 2022 and 2024, his punting on the crime issue will be a big reason why.

Exactly, The GOP needs to have a plan to highlight the horrible rise in crime and inflation as campaign issues. I don't have much confidence.

Unfortunately you’re right; they don’t even have to pretend to win elections anymore - just say they did, and pay off enough media and opposition people to make it so.

Just hearing Bill O’Reilly state (I’m paraphrasing): “We all know Joe Biden won the election ...” at the start of radio commercials is sickening...

Don’t count on it. Democrats could run Othal Wallace (the criminal who murdered a police officer Wednesday night) as Congressman from South Florida and have a better than 98% chance of being elected.

If Democrats lose large numbers of seats in 2022 and 2024

With all the chaos they have created and security risks how can they not.
