Lessee, the Chinese timeline is 2033, which almost certainly will fall back at least a little. Elon Musk’s timeline is 2026, last I read, which will almost certainly fall back a little too. But, I still bet on SpaceX to get there 1st by at least 5 years.

Is this where they are going to meet the advanced aliens from another planet who warn us of our impending climate collapse and tell us we have to destroy all our cars and bbq grills?

Everyone should thank Bill Clinton for giving all of the USA’s rocket telemetry to China including the actual computers

Guidance systems it is called.

He gave them a lot more than that. Just the tip of the ice berg cliche. When the nukes fly you can thank him for making in possible for China to mount thermonuclear warheads on it shinny new ICBMS thanks to the gift of miniature klystron switches used to trigger the fusion process. Do you like the PLAN’s nice blue water fleet? Thank Bill for allowing them to observe on every type of ship we have as well as during wargames and other naval exercises. The list goes on.

I’m curious about the 18 month supply of good and water.

All of the food can be sent by robotic ships an propositioned - water can be easily made locally by a number of techniques

No scale given. Looks more similar to a mask than a skull. On the raw image: from the object down and left is an other similar colored object of about the same size.

Everyone should thank Bill Clinton for giving all of the USA’s rocket telemetry to China including the actual computers in order to pay for his second election. What a guy?

It was the free trade deals with the communists that our side pushed that gave them the money they need to pull this off, so we have little room to talk.

You forgot MIRV tech and the solution to their second stage rockets blowing up. He was able to do all that crap after transferring duel-use tech from the State Dept. to the Commerce Dept.

I’m more concerned with the killer satellites they are putting in orbit. That’s probably why Pres. Trump started the Space Force.

Mars has water, also there is water trapped in rock which can be recovered. If you want to know more, look it up. I’m not your search engine.

Yes, that is precisely SpaceX’s plan and I think its NASA’s also - go look.

I know about the water that they think is on Mars. That's not what I asked about. You said...

"...water can be easily made locally by a number of techniques..."

That is incorrect.

Water is not "easily made".

I'd suggest that you spend some time with a search engine and know what you're talking about before you post stupid comments.

There is water on the planet. Enough to supply the means to create rocket fuel for the trip back. That is the known amounts.

They have already proven that oxygen can be made there. The experiment they did through that mars rover made enough for 9 minutes for one person. BUT, the waste gas was Carbon Monoxide from that experiment.

The biggest problem to solve is the exposure to radiation. That will be the problem that will either be solved, or not, and if it is not, then they cant put permanent stations on there. They'll have to go underground to do that.
