Speaking from the East Room of the White House Wednesday afternoon, President Joe Biden re-introduced his extreme gun control agenda, advocating for a ban on modern sporting rifles and reminding lawful gun owners that the federal government has nuclear weapons.
"Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we’re gonna have to move against the government," Biden said. "If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons."

The CIA/federal government/etc. are going to kill and replace the ENTIRE US Military with domestic and foreign enemies, in addition to the domestic and foreign enemies the CIA/federal government/etc. already “installed” into EVERY branch and MOS, etc. all this time and continuing.

Of course, the people knew this before they installed him in the White House, so all bets are off. I would include Texas, but they are too many Democrats there, including Shelia Jackson Lee and in Austin. Florida better watch their Ps and Qs because Biden is liable to drop the big one on them.

First of all, it’s a dumb comment because there is recent history in Afghanistan and elsewhere of what small groups can do against a military power.
Second, using nukes against your own country is the definition of dumb unless you’re secretly working for the CCP or something and don’t care about fallout.

Hey, if some hostile foreign power tried that, Joe would sign the surrender papers as his handlers rolled him and his kraft-o-matic right down to the bunker.
I don’t know that we-ever mounted a full on scale offensive to wipe out the bad guys completely in that Afghanistann...I mean everything all in. We set up defensive bases while we tried to build up and train and equip the feckless “national army”(with half of them spying for the Taliban)to defend the most moderate of the extremist leaders we felt we could trust only half the time.
I know the words sound twisted but I believe that is the situation in Afghanistan. They are like a nation of Tasmanian Devils, quick to turn on one another and if one didn’t have anyone to shoot, you shoot your own uncle just because he looked at you crosseyed! Even Pakistani’s have issues with the spillovers of Taliban on their borders and Pakistan is no great country itself. You think the Pakistanis want the Americans to leave Afghanistan? It means the Taliban will start going after Pakistan hard. Pakistan might have to use nukes, not on India but on Taliban redoubts!(but I’d bet the Taliban would get the message while choking on fall-out)

Let’s start with the most egregious... Founders didn’t let people own cannons. Utter horse crap. The Colonial Navy got it’s start because the fledgling government hired already ARMED Privateer ships to act as Navy until they could get their own ships built.
Most of the cannons used in the Revolutionary war were locally/privately owned. The reason the whole Lexington/Concord thing kicked off the way it did was due to British law requiring powder and artillery be stored in an armory as a control measure. When the Brits wanted to disarm us, we said “Eff no”, and then we heard the “shot heard ‘round the World”.
All of this is just one small part of this utter buffoons outright criminal threat to all of us.

Yes at first but if things start to go protracted...the military will have no support with much of the population and no one will join in as replacements. Many in the military in fact will not fire though many will...many will desert...many may fire on those who are firing on Americans. Those who are going into the military who may be anti-traditional American will die off quickly....they will have no staying power. There will be appeals to the UN to intervene but UN soldiers historically have had peace keeping rolls when they weren’t abusing unarmed african populations when no one was looking. They have no experience in major offensive or guerilla operations.
Since the populations of liberals and conservatives are so mixed they have no way of nuking one region of folks they don’t like without killing many of their own who may have representatives in congress...especially in congested regional metro-urban regions from where several congressmen may hail from which might be a mixed group politically. A democrat congressman might lose half of his voting district by nuclear blast hitting a restive region in an attempt to get at conservatives in the adjoining districts. No congressman is going to be happy about that!
Great question and I'd answer that unfortunately yes, many, especially here, believe so. I've seen one too many ppl desiring to get on to the next election without caring about what happened on 11/3/20. It's kinda hopeless.
As far as the current system, correct.
But not ALL hope is lost. We can still do something to restore the Federal Republic and the primacy of our Constitution. The Founders set up a very straight forward system that works great when it is followed.
All we gotta do is clean out the garbage and reset to defaults.
That last bit is gonna hurt and will require a whole bunch of stuff no one wants to talk about and no one really wants to think about. We CAN do it. We CAN prevail. We can restore that promise of freedom... But we ain't gonna do it sitting on the internet talking "around" the issue.
