Yeah, it really is. It didn’t always used to be that way. Memphis used to be the even more reliably blue area. But, as Nashville has grown the last decade, it has moved decidedly to the left. Davidson County (Nashville) was the almost perfect inverse of the statewide results.
Still, once you get immediately outside the city limits, it’s pretty red. I have a brother who lives in Brentwood and his neighborhood was peppered with Trump signs.
It may be Biden country, but I bet their vaccination rate still sucks...
I thought Nashville was half and half. In fact I just came back from there today. Memphis is way over on the other side though. It is very suspicious that an experimental vaccine is being pushed so hard when the pandemic is essentially over. Very leftie
