For years, he was one half of a radio duo "Curtis and Kuby." The other half was Ron Kuby, ultra-leftist lawyer but a fairly sharp and (at times) witty radio guy. I found them more informative and entertaining than 1010WINS and Howard Stern or Opie & Anthony.

Kuby (I believe) was on the payroll of Gotti Inc. There was a week of extremely tense and cringe-inducing radio where Kuby basically told Curtis that he really wasn't shot by a mob guy (I think Sliwa couldn't describe the assailant no the stand). It was riveting...sort of like listening to a couple headed for divorce.

Sliwa is a showboater, has lied, and ill-mannered. Yea, put a fork in him. He has as much of a chance as some other loud and obnoxious New Yorker of which we've heard a thing or two...
