"DENVER (AP) — A police officer who was one of three people killed in a shooting at a suburban Denver shopping district was ambushed by a suspect who expressed hatred toward police, authorities said Tuesday."
Chief Strate on Tuesday identified that man (hero) as John Hurley, 40, of nearby Golden. Without elaborating on what he did, Strate called Hurley a “true hero who likely disrupted what could have been a larger loss of life.” The chief said there was no connection between Hurley and the suspect. Arvada police spokesman Dave Snelling declined to say who shot the suspect, saying that would be something investigated by a team of area law enforcement officers."

Given that they are not saying who shot him, my immediate thought was a ccw person. They always credit an officer if they shoot a criminal. They never sidestep taking credit for it.
That combined with the officer shot from ambush. And they called the dead citizen a true hero and said he likely prevented a bigger tragedy. There is only one reason to say that.
We aren’t told a thing about why he was a true hero, what act he performed, or any details beyond the name of the murderer. That says it all. That means he wasn’t wearing a MAGA hat.
Prayers up for the murdered policeman and his family.

The murderer did not have one of those trendy Africanized sounding names. 59 years old. I can’t find a photo of him anywhere online. Don’t know if it’s a black killing, or an antifa, radicalized Democrat white guy that killed him. But either way, it’s a safe bet he was not MAGA. The shooting was more than 24 hours ago and it’s still under wraps. They have scrubbed everything online about him.

Has anyone besides myself noticed a great increase in shootings in Colorado, some against the police? It would be nice if someone from Colorado could compile a list of them for the year.

Yeah, it looks like the criminal was shot by a CCW. In which case, if it’s a justified shoot, the CCW might NOT want his name out there, in case the guy has friends. BLM might even pay a visit if they knew who it was.
