I think crime is the number one issue for most New Yorkers.
If it’s Adams vs Sliwa, Adams wins in a landslide. They are both running on a law and order platform, so Adams being the Dem will win hands down.
If it’s Yang or one of the others who win the Democratic primary, Sliwa would stand a chance with his tough on crime message.

They should change the mayoral race to a non-partisan race, that will allow candidates to run more honestly,

It’s disheartening to witness what has become of our country. Unless God steps in and dismantles this craziness, we are in for some really rough times. I don’t know people cope without the Lord.
He was a Republican but became a Democrat because Republicans have no chance of winning anything in NYC. He’s good on some things, too left on others. But he’s certainly better than the rest of the Dems.

Had a reputation as a “house mouse.” Not sure he commanded a precinct as captain but information on his NYPD career is tough to come by. Can’t find out WHEN he made captain. Was it through high score or “preferred” list?

Sliwa will emerge as a pit bull. Giuliani will broker a negotiation between Sliwa and Trump that will enable Trump to endorse and campaign for Trump.
