So he is attempting to split hairs. I suppose that is because there is an attempt being made to enshrine opinion... ahem... point of view... as being a legitimate and actionable thing, sort of like if you were an old lady in 1600’s Europe and it was the point of view of one of your neighbors that their cow stopped giving milk because you squinted at it, or if it was the point of view of one of your neighbors that you sent succubi in the night to cause him to have sinful dreams, that you could be prosecuted on the strength of these points of view as “evidence.”
Its all about changing the standard of evidence of wrongdoing.
