Juneteenth, the celebration of freedom that started in Texas, is now being celebrated across the nation.
Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) was instrumental in pushing the holiday from the Lone Star State all the way to the President’s desk.
“It’s a good day,” said Sen. Cornyn on Friday.

For certain people Juneteenth Day was a big celebration in our city. Father’s Day not so much.
So “Republican” Cornyn now thinks “independence day” was in 1865?
Will he also tell us that the Philadelphia Convention was a show, and that really there were Hidden Figures in the back, Africans who actually wrote a different Constitution, the one that he goes by?

Note that the ACTUAL name of the holiday is called “Juneteenth National Independence Day.” NOT “Emancipation day,” NOT “Freedom Day,” but “National Independence Day.” Folks, we have only ONE “National Independence Day,” and that is July 4. Note that many communities around the country have planned celebrations around June 19th (the fact we gotta use Ebonics to name a holiday is annoying enough), but an obviously blatant intentional campaign to subvert the July the 4th as our national holiday is part of the Deep State initiative to destroy America, ultimately leading to the elimination of all American patriots in ways I won’t mention on Free Republic.

If no one ever heard of the extremely important holiday “Juneteenth”, I guarantee you life would go on as usual. But, to throw a bone to BLM, Cornyn the Fool votes with the dumbest woman in the House (and she has some stiff competition there!), Sheila Jackson Lee.
