Thousands of Belarusians escaping a political crackdown by President Alexander Lukashenko have fled to neighbouring Poland in the past year, but their long-term future there is uncertain.

..As turmoil shook Belarus, Poland proclaimed itself a European leader in supporting Belarusian opposition politicians, calling for more European Union funding, launching a special aid program for 50 million zlotys ($13 million)and easing visa procedures for Belarusians.

According to the Polish foreign ministry and Poland's Office for Foreigners, nearly 10,000 Belarusians have applied for humanitarian visas or asylum in the past year.

Poland is stroking unrest in both countries partially to force the exodus and replace its own population escaped to Western Europe.

This is interesting that Poland is taking a lead in trying to right some wrongs. I have a lot of respect for Poland and Hungary not kowtowing to the communists in Brussels. I have ancestry in Poland somewhere, so have always had an interest in related stories. I also know some people from Belarus, so this is doubly interesting.

I wonder how many legitimate former Belarus/Russian intelligence agents have defected to the West via Poland?

It only takes a few legit ones to give us a good view into Putin/Russian plans for Europe.

Lets run Europa all the way to the Ural Mountains!

What could go wrong in this scenario?

Absolutely nothing, according to the foreigners, fags, and lesbians running our State Department.

No, NorseRussian - the unrest is by Putin. Russians are trying to be the hegemon and causing problems in Ukraine and Belarus

Then the Ukraine (a corrupt shit hole) and Belarus (another corrupt shit hole) better toughen up.

The Russian bear( a corrupt shit hole) is flexing its muscle.

Why should any American give a shit?

We owe no nation a security guarantee, regardless of the useless pieces paper our State Department signs.

Don’t you think this propaganda wore thin at this point?

Was Russia behind the Maidan coup which is the reason for the economic ruin in Ukraine?

As for Belarus that guy Protasevich has spilled the beans in custody, exposing the whole operation.

I like how you do dislike the Russian ‘hegemony’, but advocates the Polish empire at the same time.

You guys are once again trying to sneak into the wrong league.

Poland was lucky to get away with it so many times and never learn. There won’t be Poland one day, unless you are going to mind your own business.

Yes, the Russian propaganda has worn thin. People can see the “green men” as the Russian army.

Russia was responsible for the economic ruin in Ukraine correct. The problem is that Russia is a declining power that will collapse once Putin leaves

You guys are repeating these mantras since 1918 and then run to your mama screaming with tails between legs.

Would you mind to bring the objective data proving your points?

Regarding Ukraine the alignment to economically and culturally deficient Poland is that makes it backward.

Prove otherwise.
