For months Democrats in Washington have vehemently opposed photo ID requirements for potential voters, and they have argued that minorities tend to agree with them. According to a new poll from Monmouth University, that is not the case.
Monmouth conducted the poll by phone between the dates of June 9 and June 14. It contained 39 questions relating to American elections, and 810 adults in the U.S. participated. The poll’s margin of error was +/- 3.5 percentage points.
In one poll question, respondents were asked, “In general, do you support or oppose requiring voters to show a photo I.D. in order to vote?” The results were heavily supportive of requiring photo ID.
Overall, 80 percent of respondents said they support the requirement. Only 18 percent opposed it, while 2 percent said it “depends” and 1 percent said they did not know.
Those numbers by themselves represent a pretty strong case that requiring photo ID is an idea supported by the majority of Americans. But a deeper dive into the data reveals even more surprising results.
Monmouth found that 84 percent of respondents who were “Hispanic, black, Asian or other” races besides white supported requiring photo ID. Only 13 percent of respondents in that category opposed the requirement.
That support was stronger than that of white respondents, of whom 77 percent said they supported the requirement and 21 percent said they opposed it.
Monmouth also divided the results based on income, which is another metric some leftists use to suggest that photo ID requirements could “disenfranchise” certain voters.
Of respondents who made less than $50,000 a year, 81 percent supported the requirement, and only 17 percent opposed it. Meanwhile, 76 percent of respondents who made $100,000 or more per year supported the requirement, and 21 percent opposed it.

Apparently, white voters are stupid - or democrats, but that’s just redundant.
Makes sense.
The vast majority of the Woke is white. Primarily White Women. Followed by White Pajama Boys. This is obvious by looking at who makes up the vast majority of BLM / Antifa rioters and campus protesters.
The public sentiment is clear.
But Democrats will fight it until their last breath.
It is a small percentage of folks who are sociopaths and want to cheat everyone else.
Today they are easy to find—they are the key players, federal, state and local—in the Democratic Party.
The whites probably did not want the pollster to think they were racist. As George W Bush once said, there is nothing on earth worse than racism. The over one hundred million people murdered by Communist regimes last century were as nothing compared to an accusation of racism.

White guilt...they’re afraid of being seen as racist if they’re OK with voter ID.
