YORK COUNTY, S.C. (WBTV) - The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate shootings that happened at a Juneteenth celebration in Clover, S.C. Saturday. At least three people were shot in one shooting. Deputies say someone shot at a car in a separate shooting.
According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call about multiple shots fired just before 11:30 p.m. near Oakridge Road and Bellaire Circle in the Oakridge community.
Investigators say three people were shot. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital in Gaston County, N.C. in personal vehicles. Deputies say the third victim, a 17-year-old, was airlifted to Atrium Health in Charlotte. According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, all three victims are residents of Gaston County.
In addition to the three victims, deputies say multiple cars were hit by bullets.

I recall living in Oakland, California during the 1990’s.
They in Oakland have been celebrating Juneteenth for a long time. There would be a day full of live music, exhibits and activites around a local gathering place called Lake Merrit, a man made body of water surrounded by a grassy park.
I always made sure I was indoors by sundown, because that day ended with joggers around the lake being robbed, people at the festival being sold or offered dope, later robbed, and so on. Sort of a black Cinco de Mayo, if you will.
Any excuse to drink and act out.
Like New Year’s Eve, what better way for the urban community to mark the date than shootings and slaughter?

It is the latest “wow” video doing laps on social media of about a dozen people bringing in the year 2020 by opening fire with guns pointed to the sky.
“That’s at least 100-200 shots being fired I would say,” said James Deblois.
“That’s a lot of guns, dangerous, but it’s pretty typical around here,” said Nolan Johnson.
So typical - even a Detroit EMS rig was hit with what looks like a bullet to their windshield on New Year’s Eve.

Juneteenth is a communist holiday. They were just celebrating the execution of Julis and Ethel Rosenberg on Juneteenth, the communist traitors that sold our secrets to the Soviets.
Juneteenth will be the annual daily highpoint in murders yearly.
A day for workers at any park, mall, or other large venues to call in sick. Likely to be the seasonal peak of the blue flu soon too.
