I have a personal anecdote while we await the shows.
Have been going to church. We now have a new priest.
What is it with me and these priests?
This new priest is handsome, sings great, sort of youngish and a great writer.
We have shared some words is why I know this.
Anyway, first y’all might remember Father Tom and the strange relationship I had with him.
Nothing that’s a sin but priests...something about them sort of attracts them to me.
Or maybe visa-versa...but again, no sin.
Father Tom was Polish but since his original name was so long it was changed to Flowers. Father Tom Flowers.
Now this is a coincidence in that my church is located in the town of Lewes, Delaware....first town in America. My church is located on Tulip Drive.
Let me say this loud and clear....DO NOT SAY “LOOSE”. It is pronounced Lewis. You might be killed for calling it LOOZE as many do. The town of Lewes was founded by the Dutch.
So we have Tulip Drive Pastor of a church named Father Flowers.
But our new priest?
Can’t make this up.
His name is Father Lewis.....spelled just like that.

People living in Lewes Delaware think it is the greatest place on the world.
