On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez (D) said that Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) policies have “put the entire city under siege” and that “the Democratic Party on so many levels seems to be enamored with the mentality of being enablers to criminality.”
Lopez said, “The only thing that is equitable about what the mayor’s policies have been is to put the entire city under siege and to spread fear and violence into every neighborhood, so much so that it’s now commonplace and doesn’t even raise an eye nationally.”
He added that history has proven his criticisms of the mayor on crime correct, such as the lack of preparation for riots last year, “and even some of my fellow Democrats privately will concede that they wish that we did more to make our neighborhoods safe again. The problem is that the Democratic Party on so many levels seems to be enamored with the mentality of being enablers to criminality. And I am proof that you don’t have to cozy up to criminals to get re-elected. You don’t have to play identity politics.

Progressive axiom: crime is not a thing.
I am convinced that she like so many others have spent so many of their years hating anyone who is WHITE, that they have become truly mentally unbalanced. She and others like her are incapable of reversing that thought process. The damage has been done and all society has to pay the price - including blacks who see her for what she is. Next election, they will all be inundated with more propaganda to vote for someone exactly like her.

No, all you have to do is win the Democrat Primary election.
Put an (R) behind your name on the ballot and you don’t have a prayer of winning an election in most of the precincts in Chicago.
I believe Lopez is the alderman who sounded the alarm over a year ago cursing Lightfoot during a city council meeting.So he would be the last of the Chicago pols that I would criticize.
Criminals can be very useful to politicians.
Before Barack Obama became president, info was published that said he made use of members of a well-established gang in his early political career.

It was deliberately, maliciously and recklessly cultivated over decades....by so-called leaders with only their own interests and their own self-aggrandizement guiding them!

Democrat politicians, enabling crime, are accessory’s before and after the fact to all the crimes they enable. And should be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Re-imagining policing means never arresting blacks who break the law.
