Immigrant women who marry a USA citizen and then claim abuse immediately get a Green Card.

They do not even have to prove their claim.

Just make the accusation - BOOM - they instantly become legal permanent residents.

The duped husbands have no recourse - the abuse claim becomes part of the public record, and in most cases, the record is permanent.

This incredibly destructive Green Card scam happens hundreds of times every year.

I never knew citizenship could be bestowed. I thought it had to be earned by being a permanent resident for five years, then studying and taking an examination. That is, after being vetted both for morals and finances. No one could receive citizenship who would be a burden on the taxpayer. What happened??
