Israel and the US aren't the countries that Iran wants to threaten with nuclear weapons, they're just the countries that have the means and (depending upon the administration) will to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. The real strategic goal for Iran is for Iran to become more influential than the Saudis.
Strangely, I think the Obama administration trying to help the Iranians with the Iran deal was the spark that brought the Saudis and other Gulf Arabs to the negotiating table with the Israelis. Before the Obama administration, the Saudis felt safe relying on America to have its back if a conflict with Iran ever occurred. Who knows what will be possible after another four years of that same Iran-coddling mindset.
What you say seems to me partially true.
Trump legitimized the secret, surreptitious, meetings of the coalition to come out in the open. Years ago, Saudi Arabia was said to authorize IAF overflights to strike Iran. I believe The Abraham Accord coalition has been operating in extreme secrecy for years.
Trump’s first trip was to Riyadh where the Arab world was put on notice that there would be serious change. That was a world history changing event
Israel is peanuts compared to Mecca and the wealth represented by the tallest building in the world in Dubai. All that GCC wealth makes the mullah’s drool at the prospect.
