The usual suspects?
I wish the Buckhead citizens much success in this worthy endeavor.
people want to live with other people of the same values....and they don’t want pregnant women getting stabbed in broad daylight...
We used to have a very nice area. It started downhill with a new bus route from the projects in the neighboring city. Became totally unsafe. Then the used federal money to move some people from the projects into $500,000 homes in the area. That has worked out real well; NOT.
If only urinalists were allowed to report reality. m
The stabbing did not happen in Atlanta. Happened in Brookhaven
As for Buckhead, quite a bit of the crime there goes unreported as the local media covers for the Mayor. But there’s only so much they can do.
The mayor, knowing how insane the riots were last summer, talked about letting her son go downtown and told him to be careful around the police.
She describes the perps that either sell you a bottle of water at an intersection or rob you, as young black entrepreneurs.
And since she isn’t running and the federal investigation into his corrupt administration seems to be over, former mayor, Kasim Reed has announced that he’s running again.
So the city has that going for them, which is nice.
If voters would elect their leaders based on things like experience and a record of real positive accomplishments instead of making a persons sex and skin color the key and possibly the sole determining factors then they might actually elect competent leaders who are able to improve their communities. But as long as the media, Hollywood, and America hating groups are allowed to lie repeatedly and never be held accountable the we are doomed.
My budding engineer son is interested in Georgia Tech. Is that campus in a “bad area”? Are there any GOOD areas?
Can rural Pennsylvania divorce itself from corrupt Philadelphia?
With a name like that, do I even need to look?
