It very well could be very unpleasant for the people trying force it on the populace.

" . . . provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity not just to regulate climate, but to frame a more fair, more diverse, more inclusive, more safe and more woke world."
They squeezed just about every leftist buzzword they could into that sentence. You can be sure of one thing: they left's calls for more "democracy" are an absolute sham, and what they want is a totalitarian globalist system run by unelected technocratic elites, and in which politicians are mere spokesmen and national boundaries are simply lines on a map.

Have you ever noticed the most morally corrupt squawk the most about how the world is morally corrupt?
I have an answer for this dilemma. Lets eradicate those who are leading a morally corrupt world and who are the ones who led us here.
We do not need a world fashioned by elite satanists and greedy globalists.
Time is now.

And, THIS kind of crap that people who want to be all “Can’t we all get along?”,and “Give peace a chance!” don’t understand. Sooner or later some POS will come along and want to be the “boss of you”. And kill you if you won’t let them. Get it?!

Yawn - elite thugs always have the same answer: the little people must do without so the ‘elites’ can have it better.

You could confiscate every dollar earned in the world and spend it on “climate emergency”, but you would not affect the Earth’s climate by one degree. These morons either do not comprehend that fact or are flat-out lying for their own agenda.

“a technocratic dictatorship justified by climate alarmism”
That is “Democracy” as the globalists like to refer to it.

It is beyond dispute that we are going to have a dictatorship.
By who, and in whose interest - TBD.

This Green New Deal stuff is perhaps the main reason I feared a Biden administration. Claiming that the world will end if we don't do x, y, and z is a prescription for totalitarianism of the worst type. Nothing will be declared off-limits, and if it isn't stopped we will see previously unthinkable restrictions of our lifestyles and freedoms.
It is likely to plunge millions into huge personal debt to meet the refitting requirements imposed on single-family homes, and they may entirely ban construction of new single-family homes in the future, leading to a dwindling supply and massive increases in home prices, leaving them only for the elites.
Aging lower-end and mid-range homes will be torn down and replaced by high-density apartments. We will be told that this makes us happier, more diverse, and freer, and many will believe it.
