Well we know what happens to thse who try and play both sides of the aisle.
Similar: “The last temptation is the greatest treason: To do the right deed for the wrong reason.” - TS Eliot
“Manchin is an opportunistic, scummy political whore.”
Doesn’t that apply to about 90% of politicians? I’m thinking Pence, too.
“if he had nads, he would switch parties and become a Republican.”
Like Jim Justice, now GOP, was RAT, and I think GOP before that.
Meh, the Left just has not given Manchin enough money yet...................
He must have had a “come to Jesus” meeting. A Christian democrat is an oxymoron.
How did the abortion agenda “take a big hit” when it is triumphant everywhere?
He still is a democrat and therefore must be voted out of office.
"Just throw me the ball, Roger." - Drew Pearson (the football player, not the novelist).
Joe is desperate to win back the good feelings the WV folks had of him when he first became Governor. Sadly, Joe’s peed on their shoes once too often by flipping from the centrist pro-2nd Amendment and pro-life stance that won him the Governor’s race to lockstep liberal who facilitated his daughter’s Golden Parachute retirement (Heather Bresch, was the CEO of Mylan, which manufactured EpiPens. She retired when the scandal broke). Joe tried awhile back to gauge WV’s interest in having him back as Governor. He’s still wearing their boot print between his butt cheeks.
“That guy has some ‘nards, no matter what his motives are”.
The are at least 10 rotten, worthless, no good, back stabbing GOP Senators that could take a lesson on courage from Manchin.
“At this point, I am am glad he is a hypocrite.”
Better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, than the WRONG thing for the wrong reason.
And, who knows? Maybe he’s changed on the life issue somewhat.
