Me too. This is why mine either ride in crates or harnessed to their little seat belt thingies. It doesn't take much of a hit to pop a door open in traffic. How they ride depends on where we are going. Ten miles to town down country roads and they use seatbelts. More than that or on the Interstate they ride in crates. My daughter lets their brother ride in her lap and that scares me to death.
