I think this is one of the back door kickbacks for Manchin. Manchin’s no fool. String the regime along long enough and double, triple, maybe quadruple the payoff for the votes he was going to cast all along. The guy might be as talented a swamp operator as McConnell is.
Manchin is gonna get very very wealthy—pig at the trough.
Need every grassroots campaign we know to advertise the fact that Joe Manchin is going to take bribes for his vote and how big the bribes are. His wife already got the government “job” she probably doesn’t have to go to (kinda like the jobs Kamala got from old Willie). I hope Steve Bannon etc. keep an eye out on what he gets paid off with next.

Anybody believing that Manchin was standing firm out of principle simply does not know his history. He talks a good game but he always folds in the end and here he now has a million reasons to fold. I suspect Sinema will fold next as soon as the dems know the price of her vote, likely negotiations are ongoing as we speak.
Been tryin’ to tell ‘em . . . and a few got mad at me. They (heh heh) think that Joe has principles. Some of them are so nuts they are hoping that he will switch parties.

Some people will keep grasping at straws instead of facing reality. The next time Manchin does this, the very same people will continue to believe that he will stand firm, until he caves, again.

West Virginia has no recalls of an senator. But if I lived in West Virginia I would make his life a living hell every time he came back to the State.
