(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that it filed a District of Columbia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the DC government for police and medical examiner records concerning the U.S. Capitol Police shooting death of Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, including the police and medical examiner investigations (Judicial Watch v. The District of Columbia> (No. 2021 CA 001710 B)).
The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia after the District of Columbia failed to respond to an April 8, 2021, FOIA request submitted to the Metropolitan Police Department and to an administrative appeal concerning an April 8, 2021 FOIA request to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The request to the police department asks for:
All records, including but not limited to investigative reports, photographs, witness statements, dispatch logs, schematics, ballistics, video footage, and MPD officials’ electronic communications, concerning the January 6, 2021, death of Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol Building and its related investigation.
The request to the Chief Medical Examiner asks for:
All records, including but not limited to autopsy reports, toxicology reports, notes, photographs, and OCME officials’ electronic communications, related to the death on Jan. 6, 2021, of Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol Building and its related investigation.
Babbitt was shot and killed by an unidentified law enforcement officer as she attempted to climb through a broken interior window in the Capitol Building, located outside the Speaker’s Lobby off the House Floor during the January 6 disturbance. She was unarmed. At the time of the shooting, several officers reportedly can be seen in videos, standing in the crowd of protestors in which Babbitt was present.

So far, no response from DC Court, that I have heard of.
Some here on FR say that Ashli Babbitt is not really dead. A simple death certificate should clarify that.

I have to send this organization some money. They have been doing stellar work for some time. A lot of what we know about the Obama Administration spying on Trump came as a result of Judicial Watch’s FOIA requests.
Shameful that it takes a watchdog group to get this type of information that Congress should be able to get, but we already knew that prominent Republicans like that Sh*theels McConnell were in on it and likely squashed any attempts by any Republicans to get the info.

This incident (murder) should rank high in the inclusion of the Hall Of Fame Of Double Standards.

Democrat false narrative of Jan 6 insurrection is falling apart as is their other false narrative of the “Trump Won Big Lie”. Trump did win, the Democrats and some republicans defrauded the American people and the people at the Jan 6 DC Rally were entirely justified for attending the rally to voice their displeasure at the refusal of the political class to execute and investigation and verification of 2020 election irregularities.
- Ashli Babbit was murdered by persons yet unknown and Congress has been desperately covering it up to keep their false Jan 6 Insurrection by White Supremacists and Right Wing Domestic Terrorists alive.

Supporting judicial watch financially actually leads to something helpful. Supporting the RNC on the other hand, not so much
Ah, here is a can of worms worth cracking. I have openly wished for someone to really get at the massive fraud that is this “insurrection” idiocy. And now with Judicial Watch’s investigation, maybe that is happening. Nancy’s “Reichstag Fire” was so sloppy, ad hoc, and preposterous that it has to have loose ends galore.
Censorship will not work at the same time Nancy is calling for a “9/11 Commission” about it. She should not be able to get away with both facetiously “seeking” the truth and suppressing it at the same time. And loose lips are the least of their problems. There may be documentary evidence to show that this was all a setup, a fraud, and a sham.
Does anyone have the patience, the courage, and the staying power to get this out in the light? Maybe yes, this time.

Hopefully Judicial Watch can get some evidence regarding the Murder of Ashli Babbitt from the Capital Police and the FBI.
We the people demand answers for the illegal killing of a person who anywhere else would be subject to a misdemeanor charge of simple trespass. There was No reason to kill her.
That “investigation” was a big sham and coverup. Something the FBI has engaged in often over the last 6 years.
