MOSCOW—Russian authorities on Thursday ordered Facebook and the messaging app Telegram to pay steep fines for failing to remove banned content.
A Moscow court fined Facebook a total of 17 million rubles (roughly $236,000) and Telegram 10 million rubles ($139,000). It wasn’t immediately clear what type of content the platforms failed to take down.
That’s not nearly enough. It should be millions.
The Biden admin is missing a bet by not fining these big tech companies billions.
Fines levied against that censoring ballot manipulator Schmuckzerberg is fine by me for a taste of his own medicine. Hope they pull on Twitnit Jack’s beard while they’re at it too.
Knowing that it’s “Pride” month, I’m betting the banned content is something to do with faggotry.
Couldn't happen to a more Homogeneous organization.
It is illegal in Russia to promulgate sexualized content to minors—the wonderful drag queen story hours are illegal. If I know that, stupid Facebook attorneys should know it.
