aHHH...SOCIALIZED MEDCINE
When was the last time you visited a hospital where the patient you’re seeing was lodged in ward? Soon private and semi private will be only for the elite, like our politician masters.
Sleepy Joe keeps pissing off his Fascist Left base by dissing Medicare for all and other such health care Ponzi schemes. Once Sleepy is in the Big asleep I’m sure Kamala will champion full socialization thru her endless cackling.
I recall reading some government “minutes” regarding healthcare in England. They were saying that it was their goal that the rural counties would get the same wait times as in London.
I don’t recall exactly, but one of the examples was “In rural areas it can take up to 60 weeks to get a hearing exam, while in London the wait is only 15 weeks!”
My doc noticed some slightly abnormal blood work and told me to see a specialist. A week later I saw the specialist. The following week I had a scan done. The next week I went over the results with the specialist. “You need to eat better and exercise more....”
My insurance isn’t the greatest so I’m out a bit of money, but so be it.

Hey, it’s FREE....and worth every penny...
Clap for carers!
If the UK goes into lockdown again it’ll be because the NHS is threatening a strike.
If it stays out if lockdown, you can bet it’s because the NHS has been bought off with a raise in pay.
The NHS is the UK’s largest employer, public or private sector.
And, in spite of that, there are still horrific waits for care.
God help the UK.
Isn’t socialized medicine great? /S
Several years ago when I finally decided to do something about my knee it was, IIRC, about a 3 or 4 week process. Referral by my doc, talk to surgeon, pre-op appointment, then in and done. I wasn’t even pushing to get it done quickly. Probably could’ve cut that time in half if I had really wanted/needed to get it done quicker.
I know some Canadians that rave about how great Canada is. Except they work here. No jobs in Canada.
And in the same conversation they will say how their mom/dad is coming down to have surgery done, a procedure, etc.
