Regular CNN viewers will have noticed that since Tuesday, CNN's New Day and a number of other CNN shows have been displaying an on screen tabulation of the number of mass shootings and deaths from mass shootings so far this year, in much the same style the network had been using to keep track of COVID death statistics.

This latest wave of liberal activism on the gun issue may have been the result of the liberal network's law enforcement analyst, retired police chief Charles Ramsey, who recommended such media activism to pressure politicians on the issue, as he appeared on CNN, Memorial Day afternoon. ...

Haven't watched CNN since late 90's when Faux News debuted. Hope the news is solid that CNN has lost tremendous viewership since "The Big Steal" of NOV 2000.

News media was a propaganda machine forever. E.G. I remember some heartbreaking report about farmers debt, quickly followed by farmers relief bill in congress long time ago.

I have observed for a while a lot of “Gun violence” reports.
“Mass shooting” definition downsized to about 2 hurt. Daily updates. Obviously designed to motivate Karens to gun control.
Luckily, people are more and more seeing through it. And the “journalists” are more stupid and less careful about disguise.

If they really worry about human life, they should have a trackers of drug overdoses or aborted babies!

I am on a local cable provider here, which only has three English language news shows, only one of which is American. CNN

Every two months or so I click on CNN just to try again, they are American after all. Still cannot stand them. Intolerable!!

Now there are lots of Vietnamese channels, which my wife prefers, but ZERO real American news. There are several American movie outlets which are nice.

And Bloomberg is tolerable.

But CNN is just out to lunch bad. I just cannot even tolerate them. At all.

Terrible!
