I looked at Annette and we were watching the table at Broadway Brewhouse ....lower Broad....now the Nashville equivalent of bourbon street sans strippers..
It was a table full of maybe 25 under 35 folks who looked like hipsters meet ANTIFA or Occupy folks.....
Only one face I knew at the table ....Chet Flippo....was what we’d here would call reasonable and I knew was an authority on country and liked it

It’s just junk tv now....Viacom has succeeded by getting CMT on more cable menus rather than improving content

Could this be indicative of the actual political affiliations of the CMT senior staffing? I’m thinking yes. Disturbing they don’t know their own audience, but their propensity to lib lean is irresistible. This tells us all we need to know about the median age within CMT as well.
This is something that might be expected from a more general interest music platform such as Spotify, yet their logo remains the same, not ‘rainbowed’ at least not while I was listening at lunchtime today.
