Looking quickly at a surname info site, Turkey is the country with the most people surnamed Eriz.

looks like it originates in Turkey. 2 Alberta births, 1 Texas birth since 1980 with first name Eriz - recent migrants, possibly via Canada. Lee is the second most common Korean sirname but also common in China and Vietnam with different vowels.

I looked it up. The name Eriz is of Turkish origin.
