A father-of-three out jogging on Saturday morning in Atlanta's wealthiest neighborhood, Buckhead, was shot twice by a 'mentally ill' man who police say also opened fire on two other people and mowed down a neighbor with his car.
Atlanta police arrested and charged 22-year-old Gaelen Newsom with attempted murder, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm during a crime in connection with the weekend crime spree.
The first shooting took place in the 1200 block of West Wesley Road in Buckhead, Atlanta's richest section, which has been making a push to form its own police force and secede from the rest of the city amid skyrocketing crime rates.

“Mentally Ill” in these cases actually means “created by means of drugs, hypnosis and shocks”. These people are created by shrinks.
Nope. I've seen that "hairstyle" at many a dog grooming salon. Usually on Yorkshire terriers and the like. Looks much better on them than this thing.

We hear a of this since the government closed many of the mental institutions back in the 1970s.
Have you been following the Lori Vallow Daybell case? She and her 5th husband killed his wife, her 4th husband and possibly 3rd husband, two of her kids, her murderous hitman brother and made an attempt on her niece’s husband. Seems they were all deemed zombies with life insurance. Sure, that’s wack but she was doing swimmingly in jail for over a year until she learned murder charges with possibly the death penalty were coming. Suddenly, bam! She went broke and is claiming to be incompetent to stand trial.

I saw it with my mother in laws (RIP) street. One family was fine, when half the families were black the street went to hell.
My dad used to talk about the 1930s/1940s....where it just took one letter from a relative (with a second relative signing the note) to get the county judge to send sheriff’s crew over and pick up some guy for 30-day evaluation at a state mental facility. As he said...the crazies were sent off for the good of the community.
But when the 1960s came and everyone got all negative about the state mental facilities...the only thing left was to let some idiot assault/murder someone...to get them into regular prison. On some occasions doctors would drug them up enough....so they were marginally a threat.
I think if you asked federal/state prison guards, they’d tell you from both male and female prisons...probably one-third of the guests would be better suited for a real mental facility, and never released.
In any truly civilized country this perp would be hanged within hours of his apprehension.
