Another day, another coup d’etat. Some very interesting events have occurred in Jerusalem this week. The first was a sinkhole opening up in a parking lot, the second a fire broke out near Jerusalem.
What’s really amazing is this weeks Torah portion, Parashat Korach, which contains the story of a failed rebellion attempt against Moses. Cut to the chase... The ground opened up and swallowed Korach and his friends, then a fire consumed the others.
This does not bode well for Naftali Benedict and Yael Lapid. See: Bamidbar (Numbers) 16:26-35.
Make no mistake, history repeats, Ecc. 1:9, and it’s accelerating.

That’s one strange and ironic story:

The sinkhole is believed to have been formed as a result of nearby construction work *for a new route at the entrance of* Jerusalem. A tunnel under construction, which also runs underneath the hospital and parking lot, appeared to have partially collapsed, according to Hebrew-language media reports.
Police said they received a report of “a collapse” in the parking lot of the hospital.
