Texas Democrats scored a stunning victory in the nationwide legislative battle over voting rights last weekend when they walked out en masse to prevent state House Republicans from passing yet another sweeping package of voting restrictions.
But even that episode underscored a reality facing voting rights groups and their Democratic allies: Right now, Republican state legislatures are broadly winning their war against voting access and American democracy. And stopping them is going to take far more drastic action than many Democrats — especially Democrats in Washington — have been willing to consider.

And "Democracy" is not in danger of we move back toward all voting on the same day, in person, as we had for over 200 years.
It'll now be harder for Democrat cities to rig election on statewide races.
“American Democracy” is fast turning into a monstrosity like the Bolshevik faction in the early days following the overthrow of the Czar of Imperial Russia, before the Soviets had fully gelled and consolidated their claim to “legitimacy”.
The Soviet Union was never fully legitimate, but held on by sheer audacity and force of arms turned upon their own people for decades. Until they tried to “reform” and collapsed utterly. The reality of economics finally overtook them, as they went broke, trying to outspend the West in “defense”.
Unlimited illegal immigration is a bigger attack on democracy than asking someone to show a photo ID.
Only a racist would think a black or brown citizen is not as capable as a white citizen in obtaining a free photo ID.
Texas Flees.
Texas Rats scored zero victories last weekend. They either show up so the voting protection bill can pass or they grind the legislature to a halt and the voters will understand why. If it was so easy to stop something by simply not showing up for work, even the Stupid Party would have killed Obamacare in the last 12 years.

The Texas Dems tried this stunt about 10 or 20 years ago to stop a redistricting. They took up residency in the Holiday Inn in Ardmore Oklahoma. I remember seeing interviews of them done outside the Hamburger Inn (great place). The walkout came to an end when the Governor of Texas dispatched the Texas National Guard to arrest them and the Governor of Oklahoma said he would not interfer.
I remember that.
It is obvious. If they can’t cheat on a massive scale, Democrats cannot win elections. This is the source of their desperation to stop common sense reforms.
Ayoola Olumide!
Memo from the MSM — when we want to push something, always attach the word “rights” to it. Abortion “rights,” voting “rights.” Who can possibly oppose “rights?”
Instead of the report stating that Republicans tried to pass more “voting restrictions” why don’t they explain what was meant by “restrictions”.......voting once per person?..showing ID?....voting while still alive? These are restrictions? The Democrats need to be called out on every bit of this. If a person is to vote in completely anonymous fashion, then they should not be allowed to vote. Otherwise, there is no control over it at all.
Actually their headline is right. We are winning the war against “democracy” or “mobocracy” and are winning FOR a constitutional Republic, which is what we are.
Stupidly, these slobgobblers stumbled into the accurate wording.
Translated into English, this means, “They are trying to stop us from stealing elections!”

The “Global Times Nigeria” seems to be pretty pro-CCP.
And Nigeria is pretty close to the CCP.
