If Manchin is winning deep red WVA as a Dem, he will blow it out of the water as a Republican.
There really isn't anything the Dems can do against him.

Manchin represents a state that Biden lost by almost 40 points, so it’s not like his phone is ringing off the hook with calls from constituents who are clamoring for him to support the DNC agenda. Republican presidential candidates have taken West Virginia by double digits since 2000. And over all that time Manchin has been winning elections as a Democrat. He plans on running again in 2024 and has no desire to be primaried out of office.
