he states occupational safety board, Cal/OSHA, voted Thursday to keep masks mandatory for employees at work past June 15, unless everyone in the room is fully vaccinated.
Members who initially rejected the revision said they are concerned that it doesn’t go far enough or that it requires employers to stockpile the most effective N95 facemasks for employees who want them starting July 1.
The decision means that the current Nov 2020 rules remain in place, meaning all employees must continue wearing face coverings, whether or not they are vaccinated, even past June 15. The board could meet once again to amend the previous workplace rules, however, that wouldn't be discussed until at least July or August.
Safety board staff member Eric Berg said the proposed rules incorporate the latest scientific evidence and have been reviewed and supported by the state Department of Public Health.
“A fully vaccinated server could work a lunch shift at a restaurant, get off work, go home, change out of their uniform and then go out to dinner with their family or friends at the same restaurant in the evening and not be required to wear a mask, even though they had to wear a mask earlier in the day while at work,” added Katie Hansen, senior legislative director for the California Restaurant Association.
Cal/OSHA’s Berg said the masks used should be the most effective N95 respirators because “workers are in close proximity to each other for extended periods of time” and need the best protection from the virus.

So the chief bureaucrat can issue an arbitrary ruling which overrides an arbitrary ruling from a bureaucratic agency about how to not follow the science. And all of this is happening just as the ballots for the recall are being prepared.
Can California recall the entire state government, or does it have to happen one position at a time?

By the way, an article in “Nature” just asserted that “the science says” that the masks should stay on, even if you’re vaccinated, and transmission rates are going down!!!!

Of course they are going to say… Look at those unvaccinated people and all the COVID-19 that they have .... quarantine them, refuse them entry, refuse them work .... when most of them don’t have COVID-19 at all. If we had used the max 28 on the PCR and hospitalization or death, or even just max 28 and symptoms, we would’ve never had a prolonged lockdown at all. As President Trump said frequently, “we cannot let the cure be worse than the disease”

Working years in Islamic countries, I can’t agree more. Once you mask an individuals expressions, you have committed a terrible sin. Who wears masks? Bandits, robbers, Islamic woman,.....and those black masks are black for a reason-darkness- evil. I prefer to call them face diapers, as most mask wearers whom I meet have nothing but drivel to spew ( mostly Demoncrats). We are all created in God’s image, to cover up God’s image is disgusting. Americans have been had.....wake up and start thinking spiritually.

I find the masks (only worn inside businesses) give me a bit more freedom; if I quietly cropdust some self-centered jackass blocking the aisle with a cart they can’t see the me grinning as I pass them by...
NJ moved on a week ago, but just about 100%; this doesn’t bode well for CA.
