Yes, the highly compromised Pentagon approved it. The one that is not necessarily working for the citizens of the U.S. under SlowJoe&Ho.

MORONS.
I grew up in a time where it was OBVIOUS that you don’t use another nation’s equipment for your own military.
But hey - we’re all “global” now, right?

Guess you should expect nothing less with a woke, anti-patriot moron like Austin at the helm of the Pentagon

My office in the Pentagon concurred with the Air Force assessment that it should be banned from DoD usage. That was 2017. How things change.

Even if it is true that these drones are free of malicious software, why buy from the Communist Chinese? The answer, because Democrats are in charge of our Gov’t and the Stupid Party is the “opposition”. God, I miss President Trump.

At the current rate perhaps PDJT will in fact be running America by August - but it might be America 2.0 as the next Civil War gets underway.

Look who’s the president and VP of the US, and the head of the Dept. of Defense, and you’ll have your answer as to why they are adapting this policy of “Buy Red Chinese” military hardware.

It remains unclear why the Department of Defense explicitly calls China a “pacing threat,” yet approved the military use of China-manufactured drones that were previously banned by multiple U.S. federal entities over espionage concerns. The pentagon has always been corrupt, but since Trump and his influence isn't there to watch the crooks, they will sell us out for 30 pieces of silver.
The klinton crew sold the slants our guidance systems and never blinked about the under the table cash.

"A recent Pentagon report seen by the Hill found “no malicious code or intent” in two drone models" I'd be interested to know how this analysis was performed, what methods and tools were used, etc.
From my experience, there is no way that can be said with complete assurance.
