They aren’t seeking asylum. They were offered asylum in Mexico and refused it.
The asylum process being “too slow” is a new one....
A so called “bipartisan” bill with Cornyn as co-sponsor. This tells you all you need to know.
The problem with this “bipartisan” solution is it assumes there is nothing wrong with the level of asylum requests to begin with, that the ONLY problem is our rate of handling those requests. THAT is a false assumption backed by the false demand that every asylum request is legitimate to start with.
Someone tell me again why voting for Cornyn was a good idea.
It seems idiotic for Democrats to just open the border - even for them. But that’s what they want.
Every government employee answer to a problem is more government employees.
Why don’t we Trade Cornyn’s Citizenship for Two Illegals, he can go to Syria to live.

absolutely no citizenship for anyone who enters the country illegally. If any are needed for agriculture or other hard to find jobs give them temporary work permits - deport all others. Unaccompanied children entering should be turned over to the home country’s consulate for return to home nation. But absolutely no citizenship for illegals.
The last time hiring more lawyers fixed anything was....... Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?
Cornyn is far from alone in being an Assistant Democrat.
Grahamnesty, Rubio, Hoeven, Tillis and many others want amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority.
Re-electing Assistant Democrats is never a good idea, we MUST replace them.
